Weekend getaway

So, last weekend while Chase was in MI, Travis and I took advantage of the time and went on a little weekend refresher. We did not go far, but we had a good time.

I will start my pics with a tribute to the Texas stadium, here is a last picture of the thing standing, as many of you may or may not hears, sunday morning the stadium was imploded and is no longet standing. So, on our way out of town we took one last picture.

We stayed friday in a very nice, local hotel, quite a view!

One of our stops was to Dublin, Tx where they still make Dr. Pepper with real cane sugar, not High Fructos Corn Syrup. This plant in dubblin still bottles it today in these old glass bottles.


This is a HUGE dishwasher for the bottles, they dont crush and make new, they wash them and refill them.

Another fun thing we say along the way, see, everything is bigger in texas. The store that was at this stop made some really beautiful wood tables, bed frames, ets....wish i could afford it, it was gorgous!!!
