Ok, so Travis has said to me over and over that he hasn't gotten to see all the snow that we northerners say we always get in the winter, so he decided that he wanted to "go and find it". We went on a little mini weekend get-a-way and went north in search of more snow. We went to a northern part of Michigan called Traverse City and the Leelanau Peninsula. We took the scenic route up and back to see more of the great state of Michigan. We had a blast and really did find more snow! Here are some fun pictues from our trip.

This one was taken at a Scenic turnout overlooking the Lake Michigan "coast line". There was a large staircase i climbed up to get the really cool picture.

Check out that ice covered railing!!! Brrzzzz!

Talk about BIG icicle!! These were in front of our hotel door!! Travis had to break a few just to get in!
I'm standing about 20 feet off the shore line on lake michigan, and i am on frozen piles of water. You can see the open water behind the piles!
